🇪🇺 BEDDING AND TOWELS

One changes the world luxuriating with the fair-trade, organic-cotton sheet and towels sets of Yumeko. I have received some of them in bags and pouches that make excellent travel companions.

🌎 Business Cards

These business cards are made from old t-shirts! You can use your own design or templates provided on the site. I do advise noting — when ordering — that you don’t want to receive publicity materials along with the cards, since I got a lot…

🆕🌎 Dishcloths

I love the Wet-It dishcloths as replacements for sponges and paper towels. The dishcloths — which come in countless fun designs — are washable, biodegradable, and compostable. For hygienic purposes, I bought 20 and use a fresh one each day. After over two-and-a-half years of intense use, about half of them are still going strong.

🌍 Notebooks

SukhamWomenscraft, which is based in Germany, sells notebooks made by women in rural Bangladesh from environmentally friendly materials. Deliciously soft paper!

AboutBlanks, a Dutch company, sells journals made from FSC-certified paper whose covers comprise old book jackets.

🌏 Zippers

Zipper Shipper, a family business based in the United States, offers zippers in all kinds of shapes, colors, and sizes. A long green one gave my good old winter coat a new lease on life. I have to admit the zipper held its own for only two years, but I’ve ordered a new one: Zipper Shipper still offers a great way to keep my coat alive!
